DAP 10.1 oz. Black High Heat Mortar Sealant (12-Pack)

DAP High Heat Fire Resistant Mortar is non-combustible silicate cement used for patching chipped firebrick in fireplaces and sealing wood-burning stoves. It adheres firmly to the firebrick when wet or dry and sets rock hard when fired. It can also be used for applications in wood frame construction where an ASTM E136 non-combustible sealant is required, such as sealing around vents, pipes, ducts and chimneys at ceiling and floor level prior to the application of drywall products. It has been tested in accordance with ASTM E136 and withstands temperatures up to 2,000° F. DAP High Heat Mortar is not a fire-rated sealant as defined by Underwriters Laboratories and is not appropriate for fire-rated applications. Color: Black.
