A lock prevents accidental ignition of this metal-soldering torch for extra safety. The VersaTip is capable of seven distinct applications so you can solder, hot-cut, melt, weld, pyrograph, shrink and remove paint all with one tool. This hot cutting soldering torch has a flame control slider which adjusts between 1022 to 2192-degrees Fahrenheit for different applications. Lock the flame on while you work continuously to help concentration. Weighing just 4-3/4-ounces, the cordless soldering torch is highly maneuverable for precise work. Recharging with butane, (not included) through the quick filling valve is fast and safe.
