It can be used usually for arranging the hearth and construction of the furnaces. Refractory masonry must be done on a fireclay/alumina mortar, for example GIRtech CONTACT-40 or GIRtech CONTACT Drymix. Before performing work, it is necessary to moisten the contact surface with some water. It is not recommended to use cement mixes as a masonry mortar. GIRtech FORGE could be cuted or processed with a special tool if necessary. This product could be used in industrial units where contact between the refractory lining and molten metals is possible.
