They’re prepared by hand using premium natural materials and formulas based on historic recipes and techniques. Lavender Retouch Varnish offers superior, classic protection for your oil paintings. Made with pure damar resin and CCS Lavender Spike Oil Essence, this varnish allows for both protection and breathability. This product contains Lavender Spike Oil Essence, which is a historically documented solvent used since the Renaissance. It is non-carcinogenic and has a strong herbaceous scent. Use in a well-ventilated area, and it may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to strong scents. Our Painting Varnishes come in glass bottles.
