Though aluminum foil tape is suitable for many heat shielding and high temperature lagging applications, it is not suitable for applications in which the foil will be subject to stretching, twisting, vibration, or other repetitive movements. Once aluminum foil tape is bent or crinkled, the creases cannot be removed. Z-Flex Aluminum Foil Tapes are available with a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing designed to hold the tape in place during application.
